Tub And Shower Magic
Have you all tried the Dawn and vinegar tub and shower cleanser yet? I'm sure you've probably seen it on Pinterest 100 times, but have you tried it? Since the ingredients are super simple, I went ahead and tried it one night. I must say I was pleasantly surprised!
Let's get one thing straight, I HATE cleaning my tubs and showers. I also have a lot of iron in my water so that makes getting things sparkling clean even harder. Well, I mixed this up one night and sprayed it all over my showers. I let it sit for about 10-15 minutes and then went back in to wash it off.
The smell is...well..interesting (very vinegary), but not overwhelming. I started to scrub and found it does get rather soapy, so you may want to cut back on the Dawn just a tad.
I took the sprayer to rinse everything off and voila...a clean and sparkling shower! Super easy, super inexpensive and a great result. It does take some rinsing, however, due to the soapiness of the Dawn, but it definitely does work. So what are you waiting for? Go give it a shot!
Does the spray work as well when it's room temp as when first made and hot?
ReplyDeleteYou know, I think it might work better when it's first made. It still worked really well the 2nd time I used it, but I think the heat helped some. I could totally be wrong though lol :)
