Ice Excavation

The past week has been pretty hot on the Eastern Shore, and I really wanted to try out the Ice Excavation activity with my daughter and niece. 

 I took a Rubbermaid TakeAlong Serving Bowl and filled it with water and some cute finger puppets that I found on Amazon.com.

When the toys are frozen inside, take the bowl out of the freezer and dump out the ice chunk.

Give your child/children some plastic shovels or anything else you can think of that will chip away at the ice, but won't hurt your child/children.

Sit back and watch them have fun!
