Best Home Furnishings offers many different shapes, colors and sizes of recliners, and I picked The Beast since my husband is 6'6 and has a hard time comfortably fitting into any piece of furniture as it is.
The Beast takes oversized recliners to new lengths. The extra-large, hand-assembled hardwood frame reclines to a full 83" and is tested to withstand more than 400 pounds of everyday use (per their website).
As you can see from this photo above, my 6'6 husband has no problem getting comfortable in this recliner! In fact, I hardly ever get the chance to sit in it because he won't sit anywhere else!
It's also my children's favorite place to sit.

ReplyDeleteI'm wondering if it's just me or : Bought Beast about 6 weeks ago and , well it's most uncomfortable thing I ever sat in :-( After about 20 minutes I feel like I am sitting on concrete I have tried cushions, pillows and it still is VERY uncomfortable I can't figure it out I am 6'5" and 350# Company says it should "break in" but I can't sit in it long enough for it to break in Just can't understand Love the size, look etc but sitting on concrete won't work Any suggestions, ideas or comments welcome

ReplyDeleteThey are sturdy, comfortable and last longer than most. I'm 350lbs (obese) 5'10" and this chair suits me fine. I'll never buy anything else. My wife has one, too...power chair.

ReplyDeleteNot sure how much the reviewers are being paid, but this is the of the most poorly made pieces of furniture I have very bought. the mechanism squeaks already (4 months old) and the padding on the foot rest is totally inadequate. Any other recliner I have had has taken years to get to this point. The sofa (powered) totally loses any back support if you put the foot rests up. The recliner is starting to lose support in the seat, like the springs are sagging. Best Home's customer service dept does not accept any complaints just refers you back to the store you bought it from. The only fault the store has is in selling this stuff to begin with.
