Fall Leaves "Snow Globe"

My kids LOVE snow globes, so when I came across a Pinterest pin for a Fall Snow Globe, I knew we had to make one.  I only had to purchase a few items, since I had most of what is needed at home.

Here is what you'll need to make a Fall Leaves "Snow Globe"
  •  A Mason jar. I already had a jar, but in hindsight, I would have rather used one that didn't have any writing or markings on the glass.
  • Leaf Confetti. You can find it at almost any craft store or on Amazon
  • Moss. I used Frog or Terrarium Moss, but you can probably just use some that you find outside.
  • Glycerine. This will help your leaves fall more slowly.
  • A small tree branch
  • Glitter (optional). What's a snow globe without some sparkle?
  • Glue Gun
  • Water
Hot glue the small tree branch and moss to the inside of the jar lid (Parents please help with this).
It should look like what's pictured below:
Now it's time to glue on the leaves:
Next fill your Mason jar with water and then mix in the Glycerine.
I used 4 oz.  (I'm not sure if less or more would work better...I just winged it)
Next comes your glitter and leaves.
Lastly, put your tree into the Mason jar, tighten the lid (you can also glue it shut), give it a shake, and watch the beautiful Autumn leaves fall.
