Get Your Kids Up And Moving With the LeapFrog LeapBand!

The LeapFrog LeapBand is an activity tracker made for kids that encourages active play and healthy habits with 50 fun challenges. The LeapBand is easy to program, easy to wear, and the challenges are a lot of fun for your child.
Your child picks his/her animal, its name and its color. They then perform movement challenges for joules. The more joules they collect, the more levels and animal rewards they can unlock.
Your child can also care for his/her pets by feeding and bathing them...which kinda reminded me of the Giga Pets you remember from the 90's...but of course way more advanced :)
The band also gives the time like a normal watch, and when you register your LeapBand online, you can track your child's activities and joules using LeapFrog Connect.
You can also program school and quiet/bed times where the LeapBand will become locked. Your child will only be able to see the clock during those programmed times. (I LOVE this feature).

With the LeapFrog LeapBand, I love that my child isn't sitting with a tablet all day, but gets up and moves. This was my concern with all the new tablets out there. Don't get me wrong, I love tablets, but kids need to work on their gross motor skills, as well as get daily exercise.

Here's a quick tutorial on how the LeapBand works"

I received this LeapBand free of charge from LeapFrog, however my opinions are certainly my own.

Let me know in the comments below if you'd like a chance to WIN a LeapBand for your child!
