The Look For Less - Spring/Summer Nautical Outfit
A couple of weeks ago I was sent an email from Nautica.com featuring this Spring/Summer outfit.
I instantly fell in love, and headed over to their website to order the entire outfit.
I love all things nautical, and I also love the green army-style jackets that I've been seeing around lately. Well much to my dismay, the total cost (before shipping) for the entire outfit was $233.50!
Ouch!
I decided I would try to find as many of the pieces as I could elsewhere to complete the look.
As you can see above, I found all of the pieces for $69.25 (before shipping)! Now that's what I call a deal!
Here's where I found everything:
The navy boat-neck top was from Target and I paid $10.20 for it. I ordered a Medium (I'm 5'5, 120).
They are all sold out of the one I bought, but they have this one pictured for $12.00 HERE.
I found this army-green jacket on Ebay for $26.35 (new) HERE.
I just love this jacket. It's light enough to wear all of Spring and Summer.
I purchased a Medium.
Now I did end up buying these shorts from Nautica, however, that was only because I received a 40% off promo code on April Fools Day. That made the total cost of the shorts $32.70.
I ordered a size 2.
I did look many places for navy and white striped shorts, however, none of the ones I found fit the bill. So I was super happy to score these at 40% off. And let me tell you, these may be the most comfortable pair of shorts I have ever owned. I will be going back to Nautica.com to get more of their canvas shorts in different colors.
So that's the whole outfit for $69.25! I saved $164.25!
I hope you enjoyed this post and please let me know if you'd like to see more of The Look For Less on the blog!
XOXO
