Organic Chicken Drumsticks & Brussels Sprouts

INGREDIENTS

6 Perdue Farms Organic Harvestland Chicken Drumsticks

2 tablespoons canola oil

Kosher salt, as desired

Ground black pepper, as desired 

1-pound organic Brussels sprouts, trimmed, halved 



DIRECTIONS


1.  In a medium bowl, toss the drumsticks with 1 tablespoon canola oil and a pinch of salt and pepper. In a separate medium bowl, toss the Brussels sprouts with the remaining canola oil and a pinch of salt and pepper. 


2. Install a crisper plate in both baskets. Place drumsticks in Zone 1 basket, then insert basket in unit. Place the Brussels sprouts in Zone 2 basket, then insert basket in unit.


3. Select Zone 1, select AIRFRY, set temperature to 390°F, and set time to 20 minutes. Select Zone 2, select AIRFRY, set temperature to 400°F, and set time to 20 minutes. Press the START/PAUSE button to begin cooking.


4. When the timer on both zones reaches 10 minutes, press START/PAUSE to pause the unit. Remove baskets from unit, toss vegetables and flip drumsticks. Reinsert baskets in unit and press START/PAUSE to resume cooking. 


5. The chicken is done when the internal temperature reaches 165°F. If the chicken needs more time, cook for an additional 5 minutes. 


6. When cooking is complete, remove baskets from unit. Transfer the drumsticks and Brussels sprouts to a serving plate and serve immediately.
